Today I had a small lecture about Scenography at Yildiz University, one of our two partner universities in Istanbul. I've visited the department of Communication Design (Head: Oghuzan Özcan). They run a four-year undergraduate program to provide students with an understanding and a solid knowledge on theories and principles of digital interactive media. And very interesting, they run a Master and a philosophical Doctor program in Interactive Media Design. Today I had a meeting with Arhan Kayar, partner of dDf - Dream Design Factory - a ‘Communication Design’ company founded in Istanbul. Product launches, ceremonial events, entertainment organizations, periodical activities, art organizations, urban communication, promotional campaigns and 3D design are the main communication areas and of dDf. dDF is also involved in cultural projects, and this company plays an important role in setting up the Istanbul Design Week.
